ECO
Here at Big Eye we are acutely aware of what is happening to the planet around us, we are doing our absolute upmost to take as much care to reduce our ecological waste and carbon emissions as we go. We are very aware that the nature of our business can oft turn a blind eye to this side of things when financial and time pressures are applied. We are in full support of our sister company Amberjack Films and the projects that are being created to draw awareness to our planet and what we can do to protect it.

Here are a few of the avenues that we are focusing on in that effort.
POWER!! ULTIMATE POWER
Free and carbon zero power on tap - sounds good to me!!

We have joined the fan club for Ecoflow, goal zero and Jackery off grid power solutions. Something oft overlooked is their solar panel solutions. Using large battery banks to power our Cameras, Dit stations and AXS. These are charged either with excess juice from our vans when transporting the kit to locations or with the handy and effective collapsible solar panels. Giving us carbon zero camera packages!!!!
PLASTIC
One of our goals is to eliminate all of our excess waste. Our MD is leading the charge on our eco push - revolutionising all the small things we purchase. Even our TP is made of bamboo now.

The war on small plastic bottles on set is very real and ridiculous that is still happens in 2024. Our teams and crews are provided with reusable bottles and thermal cups, yes i know what you are thinking "those are so impractical when i have no time and the refil station is at crafty a million miles away" ah no problemo - our stations and vans have large water containers to allow easy refils.
Choosing the easy route is no longer an option
Vehicles
We are fully committed to having a completely Hybrid/Electric fleet of vehicles by 2028.

In an effort to compensate for the fact we haven't been able to complete this mission yet we make sure all our vehicles are purchased used and to the highest economical standard obtainable
